Ashley, CVT MBA

Ashley has worked in the veterinary field since 2004, joining the Deerfield Animal Care Center team in 2026. She has worked in a variety of clinic settings, including General Practice, Emergency and Critical Care, and Specialty Medicine (Internal Medicine, Oncology, Dermatology, Cardiology, and Neurology) over the past 20+ years. She first got interested in this work when she was a little girl dreaming of becoming a veterinarian. 

Today, she enjoys working with all types of animals and has a special interest in Internal Medicine and Oncology for pets. She also has a special interest in mentorship of aspiring veterinary technicians and doctors. Ashley is also a member of the AVMA and AIMVT.

Ashley earned her Certified Veterinary Technician degree from Ashworth College in 2012. She also has two Bachelor's Degrees in Criminal Justice and Animal Sciences. 

As of today, Ashley has earned her MBA with a focus on Human Resources and Leadership. She enjoys using her skills to help grow her veterinary team as well as educate the clients here at Deerfield Animal Care Center. 

Outside of the hospital, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband and their infant daughter. As an avid sports fan, family outings generally include going to Chicago Blackhawks games and watching the Chicago Bears and White Sox. Ashley also shares her home with two canine companions, Maverick - a Bullmastiff mix and Ruby - a mini Dachshund.
