Dr. Connor McGriff
Dr. McGriff is a dedicated veterinarian with over 10 years of experience in various aspects of animal care. He earned undergraduate degrees in psychology and physiology from The University of Iowa (Go Hawks!). He worked as a veterinary technician and military/police K9 trainer before earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Iowa State University. Dr. McGriff's life-long passion for animals and varied background brings a well-rounded approach to animal health.
After graduating, Dr. McGriff completed a rotating internship where he advanced his skills in surgery, emergency care, and specialty medicine, shaping his comprehensive skill set. He is particularly passionate about surgery and is excited to continuously bring new skills and knowledge to DACC.
Outside of their professional life, Dr. McGriff enjoys spending time with his wife, Ali, and their children, Marley and Sullivan, as well as their dog, Phife, and cat, Rigby. When not caring for animals, Dr. McGriff can be found hiking, playing disc golf, going to the beach, or anything outdoors with the family, particularly in warm weather.
