Dr. Kaitlyn Zebold obtained her veterinary degree from the University of Illinois after completing her undergraduate degree at Miami University in Ohio. In 2020, Dr. Zebold took on the role of head doctor and partner at Deerfield Animal Care Center after 6 years as an associate at one of The Pet Experts Veterinary Group sister clinics, Elmhurst Animal Care Center. Her major interests include soft tissue surgery and behavior medicine.

Opening a brand new practice allowed Dr. Zebold to learn all sorts of things she had not learned in veterinary school and she enjoys having the opportunity to share those experiences with students, whether they’re performing externships, or new grads starting out on their careers.

In her free time, Dr. Zebold enjoys hiking, spending time on the lake, and practicing agility with her cattle dog/lab mix, Payton (Walter, not Manning!), and snuggling with her foster-fail, 5-year old pitbull, Briggs. She also loves football and baseball and is an avid fan of both the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Cubs.
